Spiritual and Mystical
As I continue my exploration with fractal imagining, I am finding myself creating mystical/spiritual images.
Photoshop and Fractals
The next logical step in this fractal journey of mine is to combine images and fractals. Sometimes I use the fractal as the background, sometimes the image is the background.

Playing with Layers
As I started getting more comfortable with using the program, I decided to use the layers palette to experiment. Here are some of the pieces I produced playing with layers.

Discovering the Wonderful World of Fractals
Fractals are an important part of the mathematical world. I am not a mathematician; I am an artist. Thank goodness I don’t have to understand the math to be able to create some really remarkable fractals using Ultra Fractal.
Within a few days of using the program, I got so much better at it that I deleted the first fractals I created. I’m sure as I mature in the art, I won’t like some of the ones I’m posting here, but it is a wonderful medium that I want to share.
Although this one is fairly easy to make using layers, it is one of my better first fractals.
I liked this one so much that I played with the colors and produced this variation.
